Van Gogh – Poppy Field Shower Curtain
This stunning painting of a blooming poppy field was completed weeks before Van Gogh took his own life.
He did not have money to pay for models (little did he know his works would be so highly esteemed and so expensive in the future!) and so still life was the main inspiration for his works.
This open field of poppies will bring some color to your bathroom!

Bedroom at Arles Shower Curtain
This is a gorgeous replica of Van Gogh’s first version of Bedroom in Arles in a cool shower curtain!

He used bright colors and the furniture is depicted in a way to suggest rest or dreaming.
He painted this while he got really sick and had to stay in bed for many days.

How about you decorate your bathroom with these vibrant almond branches in bloom?
I love the way the branches strain upward, offering a glimpse of optimism in the troubled Dutch master.

The beautiful colors of the Mediterranean coast as seen by the artist when he took a trip to the sea-side fishing village Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
The fishing boats are seen here in one of his many seascape paintings, as the artist tried to capture the ever-changing colors of the ocean waters.
Bring the wavering flow of the ocean and the serenity of fishing into your bathtub or shower stall with this shower curtain!

Starry Night by Van Gogh Shower Curtain
One of Van Gogh’s most famous and finest pieces of work is Starry Night!
It was painted in June of 1889 and it shows the view of his asylum room in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
(He admitted himself to an asylum after he cut off his own left ear in 1888.)
Plain Near Auvers Vincent Van Gogh Shower Curtain
A captivating scene from his landscape series!
Plain Near Auvers by Vincent Van Gogh Shower Curtain
This shower curtain features the vastness of the wheat fields the artist would paint! He created these as a means to express his connection to nature and his appreciation for the field laborers.
Notice that the sky is in the early stages of a storm formation, what Van Gogh believed to represent a restoration of better times.
(From the very beginning to the very end, he loved to paint landscapes of wheat fields, so this series “documents” his progression as an artist).
*Interesting facts about Vincent Van Gogh:
- He suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy, hallucinations and mental illness.
- He was a self-taught artist and he only became famous after he died.
(So much talent…) - He did not cut his whole ear off, only a piece of his earlobe.
(That makes it a little better, right?) - Van Gogh was actually born in Holland!
(Did you think he was French?) - He had an older brother who died at birth who was also named Vincent van Gogh!
(That is a little weird…) - He only started painting when he was 27 years old!
- Van Gogh also LOVED painting himself!
(Imagine if he had a cell phone? I bet we would see hundreds of ‘selfies’:) - He painted his most famous piece of work, ‘Starry Night’ while he was in a mental institution!
- Guess who was his best friend?
Paul Gauguin! Another famous artist! - There is speculation that Van Gogh did not commit suicide… instead, he might have been murdered!
He was only 37 years old.
